Question: What is the spirit?

God's answer:

A plate with chicken, mashed potatoes and greens- a balanced meal.

The Spirit is food for the soul.

Meaning: That Spirit is God’s life in us, the “I am”- this will be explained in later chapters. However, that life can only continue for as long as we are connected to God’s life as well. Likewise, the Spirit is connected to our soul (the good of God in us) ---it is this life that feeds the good of God in us.
